How often to check TPS

I was just wondering how often is it necessary to check the TPS? I just checked mine for the first time ever and it was off. When should I check it again? Do they go out of wack often?

nope, I've set mine once on the Tcat almost 2 years ago and has not moved since. Check it once in a while though since it's there everytime you plug in the jumper

My 07 700, twice. After the second time I reset the throttle control thingy. The instructions are on this site somewhere because I printed them off and keep it in my tool box. Its different from the throttle position sensor.
Hope someone will jump in with the link.

I didn't think we could change the throttle control thingy on the Zuki's.

Savage, yeah, for how easy it is to check, for sure. And you do NOT need to remove the front plastics to adjust it.

Yeah but apparently the Suzuki doesn't have that adjustment, unless you get a VDI or something aftermarket.

This is a throttle body for the 07 700 suzook Part # 2 is called a ISC ( idle speed control?) $172 Canadian. Could that be re-set??
When I clicked on it, it said "Motor, ISC stepping"

I had to reset the TPS for the 3rd time on both my 07 700's (suzook motors) yesterday.
Symptoms; prolonged cranking and an occasional miss while at idle with a cold engine. Sometimes a hesitation.
The H1 700 engines dont seem to have this problem.
