1997 Panther 440 Two Up Starter Problem

Purchased sled a few years back and noticed the starter was weak but not terrible. I dont use the electric start that often, only to get it going in the AM when it sat out all night or something. I put in a new battery before my last fishing trip last week and the elec start seemed to be working just fine. Used it every day up there 15 times a day with no issue. Came home and put my sled in the heated garage for a few days, tried to start it last night and I had no power to the starter. Put the charger on the battery and it said it was full. Left it on all night and this AM still no power to starter. When i let the sled idle and hit the key to start position the starter will slowly spin. It must not be recieving power from the battery? Anyway i leave for a big ice fishing trip next week and i need it fixed just encase my recoil breaks or something.

Could be the solenoid giving you problems or connections. I carry a spare rope with a "T" handle so I can wrap around clutch if starter rope breaks. You can also use a "D" handle too. If you ever do that, DO NOT wrap rope around hand, put a handle on rope.

Well I figured it out. There is an inline fuse after the solenoid that was hidden under the brake I didnt see right away. Pulled the fuse and i swear it was fine but popped a new one in and it starts now.
