Is there a site or can anyone give me a list of all the recalls & updates that where for the 03 F7. My brother bought one from a dealer a few weeks ago and wanted a list to make sure they had everything done to it.
Thanks.

the rails aren't a said "recall" if they are cracked, then theyre being replaced.

red skis

Well, let me see how good my memory serves me:

1. Pull rope update
2. Rail caps update/Coil Reposition - this was one update altogether
3. Smart Valve
4. Snow Flap
5. Oil pump
6. Noise reduction kit
7. The infamous "burping" update/bulletin
8. Red skis safety bulletin
9. Rails .. only replaced if cracked unless you have a good dealer like mine :P

That's all I can remember off the top of my head, sorry.

Thanks guys. I just found the bulliton about the red skis last night and was telling him about it when he asked if I could find all the updates/recalls needed. I'll let him know about these ones and I think his has most of them done he just wants to be sure. Surprised nobody mentioned having to burp the cooling system. Anyone else have any more or some info on them.
Thanks

LabonteF7 mentioned the burping in #7. GLS commented on burping in another thread on this forum that you can search on too. If the F7 is used..it was either burped already, didn't need to be or already had problems.

How the .... did I miss that I read above and below it but must of skipped right over that. Can someone explain in more detail what the noise reduction kit is, and the Rail caps update/Coil Reposition.
Thanks, Scott

The noise reduction kit is nothing but a bunch of foam they install to decrease the decibels on the sled. It all goes inside the hood. I believe there's also some kind of a rubber ring they add to the clutch to do the same, as well as reduce some vibration (I'm not 100% sure about the clutch thing so someone can clarify if they know more about it). This is the only update I didn't have performed on my sled. The rail caps were shipped last year with bolts that were too short. The bolt could come out, the rail cap come off, and bang ... you'd potentially have a speared track. The coil needed to be inverted (180 degrees) to prevent it from giving improper tach readings.

Hope that helps....

The clutch update is a metal ring that adds weight to the primary clutch to reduce vibration.
