Loss of engine power

No smoking from engine or sounds. Sounds like engine outruns transmission. Takes off hard but slows down on pulling power quick.

Its a 07 prowler 650 H1. I'm climbing a hill and when I get to the top it just quits pulling. The engine won't rev any higher to give it more power to go, it just sets there fouled. I can put it in low range and take off spinning in gravel and it seems like clutch goes to higher range to fast and it loses power. New belt also.

Did you clean the clutches really good when you put in the new belt? They can get pretty dirty and not work well. Also maybe the rollers might be getting flat spots wore in them. If everything looks good you can try reclocking the secondary clutch. B1 is the stock position. You could try B2 and see how that performs. It will hold you in lower gear longer and back shift better.
