800 fuel consumption

So I know the 800 ho isn't gonna get great milage but what is every one else getting I recently when on a ride with local club It was a 75 mile round trip and I thought I would make it fine we were riding hard and fast about 60 the 70 and I didn't stop for gas I should have cuz a mile from town I ran out of gas and was watching the Guage but didn't know how accurate it was and was just trying to get to the next gas station. Is it really that bad of. Gas or is it just my set up and how we were riding

I run a 2" paddle 144" and get 120 miles between fills no problem this is on a 800ho CFR. Ride hard too.

you might want to look for a leaky injector, cracked exhaust pipe, or maybe a thermostat that is running full cold. I think you would notice clutching that was off enough to give you that bad of milage

There is no way that sled should run out of gas at 75 miles. Something is wrong.
Unless you have an early Pro Cross with the smaller tank.

We push right at the hondo mark quite a bit for long stretches and see much better fuel consumption. We see 8 mpg when conditions allow fast riding.

We stopped to eat and noticed other riders coming in with snow jammed in their helmets, jackets and gloves. They had snow everywhere. We looked out the door and couldn't see across the street. Six inches of snow fell while we ate a few burgers. That was the start of a great ride.
