I'm trying to figure out if the cat lower windshield extensions work with the 2016 limited mid high.

I think so, all they do is hook onto your hood, That hasn't changed

I run with the tall windshield and hand guards. Cat does not like the combination, but it does help for comfort. Hand guards do rub some. I also keep a set of gauntlets in the bag for temps starting around 10F below.

We stopped to eat and noticed other riders coming in with snow jammed in their helmets, jackets and gloves. They had snow everywhere. We looked out the door and couldn't see across the street. Six inches of snow fell while we ate a few burgers. That was the start of a great ride.

Pictures are small but here is a 2014 ZR8000 RR with the LXR windshield and mirrors, and a windshield bag. Much more comfortable to ride than the low windshield it came with. I'd never go back to the other one.

I have those same hand guards with the LXR windshield. It's tight, but they don't hit. I do have a 2 or 3" riser (can't remember which), and I doubt that it would work without the riser. The best thing about the windshield is that I don't have nearly as much wind pulling up on my helmet at high speeds (like it did before). It doesn't help with wind in the face though (6'5", FWIW).

If you don't mind me asking, which product did you replace yours with. Any links?
