Doo 850; Does my 800 need to worry

What do you guys think, They are claiming 170 horse, They were claiming or letting others claim there old E-tec was about 160, we all know now that was inflated.

So of coarse true to form; my Doo bud just had to have one so he spring ordered. And I'm already getting hints how he and his other Doo bud are going to really shellac me this time. (I toasted him last year so he's really hurting from that)

I already got a shopping list compiled just in case;

Speedwerx Hypershift Clutch kit (GregB, is this your kit?)
Bikeman Y-pipe (they said I don't need a Programmer, Speedwerx does)
Diamond S Titanium Quiet Can (measured same as stock db according to my buds meter)
Arctic Cat front skid spring (just for a little flatter cornering)

Having been a member there myself years ago, IF there's THAT MANY issues going on (and if members are pi$$ed about them) you're probably alright... Offer to run them in XC races (them belts won't survive, even if the engines "DOO")

Trigger finger's getting itchy, so don't entice me....

You went through them? I read some of them and yes most were problems;

Blowing belts
chafing wires
starting fires,
oil all over the place (seems a bit much for just a coating for shipment)
Blown engines (crankshafts)
Brake caliper bolts coming loose
Airbox strap tabs snapping off, (requires a new $130 airbox)
Cracking coolant bottles
electric starter motor sounding like rocks are in it so bad some dealers suggest getting a pull start rope kit (E-start does not have a recoil starter)

All seems to be the first batch, which is good my buds will be the first batch. Heres the best juicy part, they traded there brand new , just purchased 130 mile Enduros back because there Enduro's wouldn't stop overheating. One other guy in the group (money no object) got one because my bud got one. He never started his. Something happened to the ECU, never put a mile on it. And he flew back from an Australian trip to go sledding. Ended up just going to bars with his Escalade.
Now thats good stuff!
