List all your issues/problems with 2012 sleds

I assume Cat reads these threads so, list all and any issues you all have had with your new sleds. Please no OPINIONS. Just issues that you want Cat to know about. If alot of people have similar issues then Cat can address them and correct them. Please list the model and miles.

Rode with a friend and his XF800 with 200 miles....had coolant droplets around radiator cap and TEMP lite was flashing. Snow was on the thin side but I would think not near enough to cause an overheat issue. Also, fuel guage way off...showed empty and flashing but took only 6-7 galons to fill.

I have an F1100NA, SnoPro, Retro. The first 50 miles of each new tank of fuel the machine runs flawless. Then the fuel gauge constantly flashes to remind you that you paid way to much money for this snowmobile. I would expect Arctic Cat to fix this gauge problem.

Thats a good one Catman;

Sagging suspension [ changed out spring on front skid shock put on one off a Z 1000,the new decal didn't work} Coolant filler hose split apart { they gave me a new hose, but i went to canadian tire and found a rad hose that fits great and will not split, use dip stick to check coolant level,he gets pissed off once in a while but who cares.Lots of power needs a good clutch kit.

2012 F800 LE

White paint on is not staying on very well.
High beam is so wacky, it's hard to believe if you havn't seen it yet.
Pushes alot. Don't mind tweaking, it just seems kinda extreme.
Unfinished dash is lame for a sled with a Yamaha price tag.
Pulls over hard or maybe I'm getting old and weak.
Very little wind protection. Again maybe it's my age.
Haven't had any mechanical probs. Maybe late build date helped.

I can't bring myself to say only the bad stuff.
Engine rips.
My friends ride other brands and all of them think this is by far the baddest sled they have ever seen, kinda pained them to admit.
Cockpit is far and away the best I have experienced. (Came over from an XP)
Over all handling is superb. I love the way it flat out tears up the gnarly/nasty trails near my place. If any trails could bring out the worst in a chassis, it's this stretch of ungroomed crap west of Curtis. I can stand up and let it rip. Little stiff but I have confidence that I won't dart off into the trees.

Sled: 2012 F1100 Turbo limited
2012 1100 turbo with 25 miles. First ride of the season my sled stuck in reverse and would not go forward. I know arctic cat knows about this since they they told me. it seems to be an epidemic with the new machines. Sled isn't fixed and still has 25 miles on it due to no parts.

350 miles on mine,Sno pro M1100 turbo ltd, 162.
< Coolant hose along frame behind the fuse bob rubbed through on the head if a bolt.) dealer is sending a new hose, had to make one to keep riding.
< PCV elbow into air filter just wont stay in place.
< handle bars were not tight enough, they dropped into my lap on my first hard hit, ( dealer set up issue)
< no trouble with reverse.
< will be doing an oil change and filter this weekend.

parts delivery is pathetic, No spare belts, No belly pan protectors, etc.... ( made my own belly protector out of Polished checker plate after i put a stick through the clutch side waiting for the set i ordered in july....)

That all aside the sled absolutely rocks, i have not had it in any real powder yet and first impresion is it will take some bbody language in the trees to make it work. I ride agresive and have some extra to throw around so i do not see it as an issue.

Sled: 2012 f100 turbo anniversary
mine and the wife have 500 mile or more on our sled.

1) squeeky front stabilizer bar (both sleds) -minor
2) reverse both sleds-minor
3) thumb warmer -minor
4) white paint -bs
5) sled pushes out in tight groomed trails -minor (longer carbides needed)
6) PART SUPPLY!!! sucks major piss off!.....apparently we all bought every sled part they ever made for the procross...(too many sleds sold not enough parts)also this makes the reverse issue huge if you have stripped gears !!

setup from factory is pretty good ...sled rips over ungroomed banged out trails it actually surprises me how good it flys over them

800 lxr had coolant come out of??? Over flow I guess. Dumby light for coolant temp kept going off when not hot and low octane light kept killing me all day. I had fresh 91 octane from station that sells a ton year round. Just got serviced find out Sunday if fixed. Turbo has had no problems and just got oil change. (These are a buddys sleds but he don't use internet )

Cool Issues

I have two XF 1100 non t LXR. Both leak oil from the separator hose, have had new clamps, still leak. Both leak from rad caps, supposed to be getting new caps. Windshields keep popping out on the tab left. One would not shift at first now shifts every time. One machine had the toe set really bad, one was right on.
