differences between 800 and 800HO engine

Does anyone know what the actual differences are in between the pre-2010 800 and the 2010 and up 800 HO? Curious what parts interchange, is it just porting and fuel differences or is it deeper? If I were going to build a motor, can I start with the older case and crank and just put the newer 98B4 cast jugs on it and it would be a HO if put into an HO sled with the EFI of the same? Curious, thinking about building another engine is all, just wondered.

10-11 Mileage: 1000-ish
09-10 Mileage: 162....2 rides
08-09 Mileage: 1036 & counting
07-08 Mileage: counting airline miles to Australia ?
06-07 Mileage: What?? Ride?? We're supposed to ride these things ?
No parts that I'm aware of will interchange.
If memory serves me:
The deck height is different.
Cylinders are different
The crank bearing diameters are different.
The crank itself is a light weight crank and completely different.
The pistons are different
The head is different

And I'm sure there are many other things.

IT FACTOR
Options suck.....at least having to choose which ones to waste money on..........
