2013 Cats - Any weight reduction?

I am wondering if anyone has information as to the weight of the new 2013's. Any new parts other than 2.6 inch track, vertical steering, and 38 inch ski stance? Do the M1100 SNO PRO/LMTD/HCR come with adjustable height or fixed steering columns? This is unclear on the website. Any input will be helpful for SnowCheck planning. Our dealer thinks he will have Snow Check prices on Friday...

No the M1100 does not have the adjustable post and only the Sno Pros have the flat steering. The 38in ski stance is an improvement. The owner is down at the show right now. So far he hasn't been able to find any info on weights. Looks like they will be the same as 2012. What else you want to know?

What improvements are there exactly? Other than the track and ski width...

Vertical steering on the SP 1100T (it makes a big difference). Supposedly a better tunnel design to prevent icing. They are talking about a stiffer torque plate on the 800's to help with belt alignment under load. 2.6 track and narrow ski stance on the m's. No engine changes or tweaks, so far no weight reduction. Besides the changes above, different graphics and more $$$. I'm sure they will be more refined than the 12's. I know that Cat was trying to improve their body panel fitment. Should be a good year with the bugs worked out.

Sled: 11 cf8le-T, 2012 m800
07-08 Mileage: 3500
06-07 Mileage: 2800
ATV: my KAYAK
from what we're hearing 5 lbs less... with what I'm seeing (lighter A arms, lighter brake... but heavier track) I find even that hard to believe.

2011 CF8 LE 141 Cutler stage II race gas turbo, powerclaw track, BD-X oil delete, Koso egt, Bparks light weight bushings, BD-X inner wheel kit, BD-X 2 wheel, BD-X anti-stab, BD-X 40" A arms with 19" floats
Wildchild T top post with 4-6" Rox adj riser, protaper bars, cycra handguards, pro design tether.
BR-tech Thrasher hood and venting.

And a throttle that points the RIGHT way, FORWARD!!!!

250++hp...and still quieter than a sled with a can!

2012 proclimb M800 snopro, BDX oil delete, CE 2.5 track, 38" arms, wildchild post mod, pro design tether, and a hot dogger (and of course, a forward throttle...)

PM me if you're looking for lightweight or diamond drive parts, I can get you discount pricing on BDX parts.

Per Amber Holt, the front exchanger drops 9 lbs. Per dealer, it comes to real world 40 lbs when included with the snow/ice buildup.

Which sled or model does not have a front heat exchanger again?????????? This is a big problem for us throwing rocks and debris, if we could eliminate this that would be huge etc.

I just sold my 2012 M8 SPO, will be ordering a 2013 so would like to know ASAP.
