Just bought my first M8 sno pro. what is a good starting point for pressure on the front and rear skid. And is there any concern about readj. pressure because of large temp swings. Seems to me that once i get it dialed in I thought about using nitrogen, or is that overthinking it?
I was going to use a rear float, I spoke to the guys at Hygear suspension and they told me for my weight 205lb to start with 200lb of air and go up as needed, they did say temp will greatly affect the air pressure, just like a tire
I have a 09 M8 sno pro, I run 55Lbs in the right front and 60Lbs on the left. this is to off set the weight of the DD. you can adjust up or down from there. In the rear skid I run 155lbs. when I step on the sled the back drops about 1".I weigh in at about 175 Lbs. You can play with it from there. Also make sure when you are adjusting the pressures that the shocks are unloaded. I roll it up on each side to make an adjustment and pick the track off the ground to adjust the rear.
On my 2010 162 ir un 55/57 up front and 125 in the rear. I'm 260 geared up, I do have 2011 valving. Sled sinks and inch when I step on. Seems to be a lot of different pressure setting guys use, never hear of 200, they are only rated for 150 max.
