could i get some help with setting the cluctch on my new seld. i bought a 2005 king cat a couple weeks back and the thing i found out is arctic cat clutches are nothing like skidoos. all the guys around here have skidoos and they dont have a clue either. i told them all to grow a set and buy a cat but so far no luck. anyway i pulles the cover of the clutch and pulled the spring offand then i cant get to the weights. there is a nut that is on that shaft and it looks like if that comes off i could get to them but im not sure. and if so is their a speical tool that i dont have. thanks

You don't have to pull the cover off to change weight. Compress the clutch and stick a screwdriver in by the spider to hold it open. Since you have the cover off already start by using a propane torch and heat the heal of the weight and loosen the set screw. Then take the nut off the weight bolt and slide the bolt out. They use red loctite on the set screws so that is why you need a torch. Be sure to use loctite when you put a new set of weights in and replace the O-rings on the bolts if they look old or cracked. You will probably have to use a small punch to remove the bolts, seems like they always get a little loctite on them.
