Fastest new 2014 2-stroke sleds?

I am needing a new sled and need help deciding. I know I want a 2-stroke. I don't see any 1000 cc's being made anymore. I have always wanted an F1000 (I had a Thundercat) Will the new 800's still make me happy? I am not doing jumps, I just want a sled that has great torque.
The Indy 800 or the ZR seems like my best options.....please advise. Thanks

The twin 800 have plenty of snort, but I would think that you would be very happy with a new 4-stroke turbo, as most of them are 1000cc+ sleds. They make them very light now, and most of them perform great!

Old school here also, 2 stroke only. My dirtbikes, my 4 wheelers, all of it. You guys can keep your expensive to rebuild, heavy to lift, geo metro sounding 4 strokes

I want to really enjoy my toys, and be able to work on them quickly. And 4 stroke is not where its at. My buddy who rides a 450 4 stroke, cant hang with my yz 250, which is lighter, faster, and down right more fun to ride.........nothing like "coming on the pipe". Plus, cost him a fortune when that thing breaks down. 4 strokes are way to complicated for me to want in my toys. They have their place, dont get me wrong, but not in my world in my toys. The EPA can stuff them up their asses and spin.

I actaully quit riding dirtbikes untill I was able to kick up a 2stroke. I couldnt stand riding a 4 stroke bike. Maybe when they actually make them perform on par, with the same size engine, as a 2 stroke, ill check them out again. If they were truly better, you wouldnt see them getting such a CC advantage when you are racing. To me, if your in the 125 class, you should be running a 125.......period.

I mean really, you have to double the engine size, and put a turbo on it to run with a 2 stroke. Thats not advancement in my world. Now in my cars, where the torque factor is much needed, Im all for it. I love my turbo IROC, and supercharged SS camaro. But, ill keep it under the hood of 4 wheels.............

the 800 cats are very respected sleds on the trails and lakes.. Nobody like pulling up beside one. and they are very dependable motors.. I recommend getting one.. and get the newest model your budget can afford.. They got a nice boost in power in model years 2010 and newer( 164hp).. But the 07 to 09 are still around 145hp..
