I have seen and or heard this rumor. I dought that is what it would look like but I have seen that image.

Makes sense trade chassis tech for engine tech. But we will find out in a month or so either way.

That picture is totally fake. However, there's has been lots of rumors about a joint Yamaha/Cat coming out. It's discussed daily on the Yamaha boards. Yamaha came out with a kiddy sled last year called the SRX. It's a Cat ZR120 body with a Yamaha 4 stroke motor in it. That's where most of the rumor got its legs.

Cat has been using the 120 Yami motor for YEARS! This rumor is nothing but RUMOR!. Cat may get some Engine tech and some help with future two stroke ideas but Cat is building there motors in St. Cloud Mn starting model year 2015 with maybe an early 600 class twofer starting next season at some point.

So yamacat exists! Going to be built by cat using nytro motor and Yamaha clutching. Sold as yami. Lets hope AC got some engine tech in return. I love blue one but windshield is goofy. Can't wait to see what other brands have next year!

Wow !

Cat is going to build the Viper series sleds for Yamaha in Thief River Falls. Well I'll be, that front end on the 2014 Yami sure looks familiar, but wait...it is actually a Cat with a Yamaha motor that is built by Cat, but it is really going to be a Yamaha. But it will also be a Cat with a Yamaha motor and...Holy Crap is this really happening?

Yes it is happening. It is the XF 1100 with a nytro motor except it is red or blue, not green
