What kills more people...horses or snowmobiles?

Argument with my wifey today about what kills more people...riding horses, or riding snowmobiles.

i say horses kill many more than people, but how do I get statistics to verify my argument?

what say you?

I would say horses:

-Horses have wills of their own
-Horses can (and do) say no
-They have blind spots, thus mking them unpredictable, even in the most farmiliar situation.
-They are aware of the power they posses
-they cannot think for themselves
-you cant control them
-they are pumped full of testoserone
-they, kick, bite, buck, rear or spook

ZR THE LEGEND IS BACK.

My opinion is that sleds kill way way way more people each year. I did a quick search and found one source that said about 20 people are killed per year in horse related incidents. That's 20 for the whole country for the whole year. Pick any northern state and that state's snowmobiling deaths alone will blow away that number.

horses don't have brakes
sleds don't kick
sleds don't buck
sleds don't spook
sleds aren't 6 feet off the ground
you wear a helmet when riding a sled
horses are dirty, smelly, stupid critters that are expensive as hell.

As far as snowmachining deaths go, it happens when the end user is not exercising their brains properly.... Stupid things happen. Shoot one of my friends almost buried himself in an avalanche cause he was highmarking in dangerous snow conditions. Brains are a good resource, but not everyone uses it.

Horses on the other hand, I love em, but I have almost had my face bitten, kicked, have had my bare feet stomped, been pushed around during feeding time, and shoveled more $hit than I care to remember.....

It costs less dough to feed your snowmachine....

The question was not "injured", but killed.

Getting a broken leg or bitten is not being killed.

When was the last time you saw a horse that coul run 100+ miles per hour?

My niece lost a friend due to a horse kick when she was 11 or 12. Went out to the barn for chores any didn't come back.

If I was standing a foot closer to that horse, I wouldn't be here talking to y'all. It came that close to actually kicking me in the face double hoof. I was about 8 or 9 at the time.
