Help - Best helmet for anti-fog eye glasses

Hey what helmet does everyone with eyeglasses use so that their glasses won't fog up?

It's getting old riding with my visor cracked...having to constantly open and close it....plus one of these days i am going to get frostbite riding this way.....

If you want a cat helmet your SOL, if you want the best helmet for wearing glasses that would be Ski-Doo's Mod 2 helmet.

Have you tried a heated shield? I had same problems, if my shield didn't fog, it was my glasses. I wore contacts until I had an eye injury, so now I have to wear my glasses. I too had my shield cracked open all the time. I added the heated shields to all my helmets and I don't have anymore problems. Don't ask me how this helped with my glasses, I'm just happy.

well i bought a $200 helmet at the local dealer....glasses fog up the instant i close the modular....it's just awful....riding is not much better....i went down to buy the electric shield which would put the total cost of the helmet at $320 but the dealer told me not to bother it won't help with my glasses....he told me to buy contact lenses which i despise b/c they really bother my eyes....so now i am going to try and return this helmet and look for another.....320 bucks on a helmet and your glasses will still fog - something ain't right there.....

just curious, what kind of helmets do you use that wont fog your glasses ?

I picked up some close out AC PFP style helmets at a snow show one year. Rode first year without heated shield and drove me nuts. Put on the heated shield and have had no problems.

One idea would be to spend the money on the shield and try it out. If it doesn't work for you, sell the helmet and try something else.

Have you tried treating your glasses with any anti-fog?

i put a quick 2 coats on my glasses but didnt seem to help much...maybe i will try putting more on....

some guy at a local polaris dealer told my gf that he has an hjc modular that wont fog so i will be looking into that as well.....

i'm also considering the ski-doo mod2 that dadsz posted about as well

BV2S get one used on ebay . my son and I both wear glasses and we have no isssue with this helmet. Go to a dealer put one on and walk out side in the cold. this is the best helmet we have ever used

Hey Mud,
Neither of us use a heated shield. The only catch is when you come to a stop you will need to pop open your visor just like most unheated shields
