This should be "pinned" somewhere, please and thanks. It's hard to help inexperienced starting mechanic, I and other knowledgeable people here like helping but have a hard time with your descriptions. If you know the name of the parts and a pic or 2 would help in some instances. You can copy and paste from the AC site the exploded parts views at times (I save to my pictures in computer, right click save and then at the bottom of the post box hit the browse and pick your picture out by double clicking then hit upload next to the browse sometimes it needs to be resized smaller).
Arctic Cat Parts Lookup
Go to *www.arcticcat.com *, click on "sleds". Scroll to bottom of page and click on "parts lookup". In the "model name/number" you enter the year and model or one or the other and hit enter. It'll give you a list of sleds or only the one you entered but click on the sled you want. On the right will pop up a box, click on "illustrated parts list". Then click on the sled area you want to look at. You may have to allow pop-ups from this site by clicking on the pop up bar at the top od the AC page.

I also use the online parts fiche on Brown's Leisure World. It seems to me to be easier to navigate than the one on Cat's site.

Brown's site also has retail prices and updated p/n for an idea of what stuff costs.

Thanks guys, this is what i'm talking about. Helping each other out. Now if I can help myself out and start using brownsleisure I'll be ok. I'll check it out, so how do their prices compare to an AC dealer and how fast is shipping. Are their parts AC parts because aftermarket places are cheaper like Fowler Electric, Dennis Kirk and Central Snowmobile. Quick comparison on my '91 EXT Special 550 pistons set w/rings and clips, cyl base gaskets, crank seals and water pump gasket/o-ring. Thanks again.

Brown's parts are OEM Cat parts, and their prices are Canadian. I don't know how they compare to other sources, I just like the part number reference.

Yes it worked good. I think the prices were close to my dealer even though their Canadian. But it'll give me an idea right away about how much stuff is. Thanks for the info, I'll have to get used to using it now.

Other same style sites are Alphasports.com and ArcticCatPartsNation.com I have found "partsnation" to be cheapest, and it's all OEM. Just takes a little while for shipping. Worth the wait if you order a list of parts.
