Found a place in Canada that would rebuild my 1979 Jag 340 Stator. It was $200 vs $340 for a new one. Go to this web site for Stator help:

Thanks to them I rebuild my own now. They did honor their 1 year warranty twice for me. They don't compensate for incidentals though. Hopefully they've improved.

I was going that direction, but add in the shipping it isnt worth it from the usa....and i heard the warranty is not unconditional... I believe stator corp specializes in ac as well...

"Stator corp" I sent my stator out Tuesday after labor day, and had it back in hand on Friday, that is service...I did pay 16.25 to overnight it to him, he paid to return it...Hell of a nice guy to...

I do not know the name of the company but there is a guy/ company in Quebec that does it as well, I believe just under 200.00, you send him yours and he sends you a rewound one.

That would be RM stator in Quebec.

In my experience I found poor workmanship. Also lighting coil output was kinda low. This was for a ZRT 800.

First stator a wire for the ignition coil was poking through the insulation and grounding out to the mounting plate.

The second one a wire broke off one of the ignition coils.

I've learned a lot from these experiences and hopefully they did too. I tried to give them as much detailed feedback as I could.
