Sled: Firecat F7 ZR 600 efi ltd
I Have a 98 zr 600 efi It had a d&d cluch kit in it with a semi orange primary spring. well it broke last year so i went there and bought a new 1 they gave me a redish orange spring. I installed it and it engages at 4500 is that ok ? or do i need a different primary spring ? and what should be the max rpm of the motor ? The sled had a cluch kit, pipe , and chip combo. I took the pipe and chip out and left the cluch in. I have yet 2 take it out 2 try it so i just want to be sure as not to over rev. thanks 4 your help

thats not bad for engagement, your max rpm should be round 7800-8200. You will probly have to get a diff clutch setup as pipes max their power at a higher rpm.

If you're back to the stock pipe on a A-case motor it should pull about 8400 and build to 8600-8650.

My new favorite bumper sticker seen outside The Bent Wrench, Fountain, MN: "Your loud can doesn't make up for your small d*ck

Think about that the next time a trail is shut down because of loud sleds.

The shooting stops when the looting stops.
