2007 400 FIS Gauge Pod

Hey guys,

Gauge pod on my 2007 400 went out, bike went underwater and pod hasn't worked since. Does anybody know if the pod out of an 2008 500 will work on my bike? They each have different part numbers so I am hesitant to buy one for the 500, but price is right.

400 P/N: 0420-070
500 P/N: 0520–019

Thanks!

There is one on eBay for $279.95. It says for a 500, but decal is a 400, it is red, though.

Yes, I was able to find one on EBAY for $125.00, but for a 500. All the 400 ones are in upper $200.00 range, not worth it to me at this point. I may roll the dice and try a 500 one, I always thought they were basically same bikes with just different CC'd Suzuki sourced motor....

Pretty sure they will work. A lot of times you can peel the part number off the back and it's a different part number underneath.

I can confirm that pod from a 500 will work on a 400. Only issue that I am having is that the gas gauge portion of the cluster (on right side)does not display at all.. Does not even have markings for fuel level.

Yes worked before, and weird thing is its not as if it just isn't displaying a fuel level, the entire extreme rightmost side of pod is blank, as if its not even capable of displaying fuel level. Everything else works perfectly
