2007 Arctic cat 700 efi water pump leak

hi i have a question i have a 2007 Arctic cat 700 efi the water pump leak out of the weeping hole i changed the mechanical seal & still leaking and noticed a craqck on the impeller would that cause coolant to pass threw the seals? any help would be great thanks

Others will have more knowledge about these specific motors, but if the impeller does have a crack, then I would say that yes that would cause a leak. Buy all new seals, new impeller, etc, and replaced them. If you can figure out what caused the cracking, and make sure the water pump housing is in good shape as well before using it with new seals and impeller. Should fix the weep hole leak unless other issues are there.

Are you sure the impeller has a crack and its not just a casting flaw? Their is a seal under the mechanical seal that should have been replaced

hi yah i checked it over and the crack is split its not a casting flaw i had changed all seals oil seal, mech seal and orings still coming out of the weeping hole but have a new impeller coming in today or tomorrow let u know how it goes
