So I've got a dilemma. I want a mud pro 1000, but being limited to 55 mph sucks. So I started looking at putting the MP snorkel on my 1000xt. Everything looks like it will work, but one part behind the inner clutch housing is different. Does anyone known what's so different about it and if it's really needed to be changed? It's number 4 in the pic
I did the mud pro snorkel on my 14 xt1000. No probs at all all the parts were the same. Only thing I would do is not order there cheesy hose clamps. Was a simple install took about 2hrs.
After looking at that pic a little more you don't need to order that part your exhaust off the back off your clutch looks like that so the snorkle tube will hook right to that
That part is for the intake. I just noticed that they were different part numbers. So the intake boot fits to that no problem? And I priced everything out at about $500.
I would check around I did mine for under $300 I get a good deal at my dealer but I would deff be checking other dealers that's a little on the spendy side
Yep only things I didn't get was Hose clamps and that $40 mud pro sticker. I do get a good discount but wouldn't think $200 good. Might be worth checking other dealerships and having things shipped to u
