HELP where is spark plug

Have a 2002 Arctic Cat red 500cc ATV that won't start, thinking it might be the spark plug is bad. Please don't laugh at me, but where exactly is the spark plug? I'm not that mechanically inclined, this was my husbands (passed away 2 years ago), and I really need to get this sold. It's hard to sell when it won't start. Please take pity on me and tell me where to find the plug so I can change it myself and not have to spend a boatload of money to get it going. Thanks!

On my 700, i take the front left inner fender off and reach in there with a spark plug socket and a little extension attached to a ratchet. its a pain in the butt to get at.. But its in there if its similar to the 700....

I'm a dummy

What does the cylinder head look like? I can identify the carbuerator, and I traced the wires from the battery to a "box" looking thing. I've looked all through the msanual but of courser there is NO info whatsoever on where the plug is located.

I do remember once many years ago it wouldn't start and my husband tried to pull the spark plug... turned out NOT to be the plug (something else) and he had to take it to the dealer to get plug changed... and turned out the service mgr didn't know where the plug was either, he had to call someone. I'm not completely ignorant, I did manage to change the plugs, plug wires & coil in my Ford Focus. I just need help to FIND the darn thing!

Thank you

Whew, I finally found it! For any other poor schmuck who may face the same problem, it is on the left side, very near the top of the engine (the video posted about changing the spark plug gives the best general idea of where to look). It is, however, hidden behind a hose of some type so is really hard to see (and access) unless you take off the side plastic that's just below the seat... once you take off that side plastic it's pretty easy to find. And, miracle of miracles, I got the new plug in and that was the problem, because it fired right up! Thank you so much to all of you!
