Ive considered putting an ECU from a suzuki king quad 750 on my 08 700. if I remember correctly, they also used the same injector. The king quad has 8 more horse power than cats 700 and the cubic centimeters is only 27cc difference. Im sure that 27cc doesnt add 8 hp. Any thoughts? Ive looked at my friends KQ and his ecu will work, but you have to file off a little plastic tab because its made to fit suzuki of course.

I tried the 750 ecm in my 700 king when I had it. It worked really nice with an aftermarket exhaust. I figured since it was feeding the extra 27 cc of fuel in it was worth a shot. Try going with the 2009 or up model those were the ones that were supposed to be better. Although for the price you may want to just consider the vdi.

Me and him used 2009 Mudpro Ecu's and the 2010 should be exactly the same. They changed in 2011-2012 and probably speed limited now.

Got to ad air to them and fuel and a good flowing exhaust.

I have dual 3" snorkels and my hole exhaust system was coated for better flow and cooler temps.

I have out ran or run right with every single cylinder quad I have raced and had bigger heavyer tires and a heavyer quad to boot.

I emailed papa_slap about this, and he said that if you have the side vented air box, that you would see great gains on the Mud Pro ECM. I am considering it. Just waiting to hear back from those are ordered it.

So can anyone tell me the part # for the 2010 ECU? How about the 2011?

THis sounds like one of, if not THE easiest ways of getting more power from my stock 2011 700 H1.

Just take off the seat, unlpug the old ECU, Plug in the new ECU [thinking I might go with the 2010] and ***Ta-da!*** I have access to ~8 more horses.

Am I kidding myself, or is it just that easy?

Hmmm. My 700 also has power steering. The ECU affects power steering as well? It makes sense that it does.

So I'd need a 2012 Mud Pro one as well in order to keep my power steering working.

I hope there's no limiter on that one.
Anyone know?

If there is, then I guess I'm already limited, since mine is a 2011.

How do I get rid of the limitations on mine?

I am very interested in putting a snorkel on my 2010 T-cat but im having a hard time finding a kit. I dont want a snorkel form a mud pro cause there just way to big and the intake is different on a mp then a t-cat. Anyone have a brand or company they have used to do this?

So, I fnally got around to installing my MP ECU, and took it out on a day long test drive. I have to say I am quite disapointed!!! Not at all what I was hopeing for. My little 700 would cat walk at will in high, standing still or up to about 15 KPH (just under 10 MPH) or alost any time in low. Now its all I could do to pull the front end up with JUST the MP ECU. I removed my PC3, asI was hopeing to see some gains from just the ECU. I am not sure what I can adjust fro this point, might just ahve to go back to my old set up.

Currently I am clutched by papa slap, MP snorkel set up and modded factory exhaust. I am running 28" Zillas, 10s up front adn 12's out back. I am open to suggestions, as I was really hopeing for some more jam. Maybe I was just dialled in to well before? I thought I would be at least the same, but was really hopeing for more, as 9 HP should be quite noticable.

Thanks guys.

interesting.

which year ecu did you get? ( part number also if you dont mind)
If you want someone else to give it a try in a totally stock engine and stock clutching, I'll volunteer.

Just noticed your from Canada, too much hassle getting it across the border. maybe you could find a volunteer near your neck of the woods?? I know it isnt returnable, it;s an electric part.
