Buying a 07 700 EFI How to tell what motor is in it?

Alright im buying 07 700efi i have read some stuff on the bevels

arctic cat 700 motor has bevels and problem correct?

suzuki 700 motor doesnt have problems correct?

The dealer im buying from says that they all have suzuki motors until 08 09 I dont think this is true

Is there any other issues with these quads

has 850 miles and can pick it up for $4300

Yes its a suzuki motor...yes the cat motor had major bevel issues and no the suzuki motor does not.

Dealer is correct they were all suzuki 700s until 2008 when they built their own...in 2008 was both engines silver se was cat only and all other colors were zuki motors.

I would say next to the 500 zuki cat the 700 suzuki cat is bullet proof....once you change out the motor mounts of course

Well for one guy sounds like an idiot...i bought mine brand new i will tell you right now there was only one engine in 2007 and its a suzuki built 700..doesnt say suzuki on it tho but it is.

Seeing he doesnt sound like he knows anything ask him if the belt cover is plastic or metal.

Suzuki - plastic
cat - metal

2007 Mileage: not enough!
savageman is correct with out doubt. Arctic cat did not make their version of the 700 H1 untill 2008. This was why i bought my 2008 700. I wanted the suzuki motor and cat was releasing theirs but only in the silver LE 700. 2009 was ALL H1 engines. Another way to tell is if the front drive shaft coming out of the engine is in the center or off to the right side. If its on the right side with TWO ujoints, then its suzuki,a strait shaft is cat. If he says its a cat motor then it would be a 2008 or newer. What color is the atv?

right side belt cover is the easiest way to determine what 700 you have.
Savageman hit it on the nose.
Smooth Black plastic cover = Suzook engine
semi rough natural cast aluminum cover = Cat H1 engine
both will say arctic cat on them.

Ooopps the suzuki cover doesn't say arctic cat on it, at least my 07 700 doesnt have it stamped on the cover. In 08 I'm not sure.
