Do 50cc ATV's from Cat come with a title?

Found a decent used 2003 50cc near me, and the guy says that it did not come with a title. Is this true?

Also it is priced at about 600 -- is this a good price?

Thanks!

Looking for a definite answer from someone who has purchased from a reputable dealer.

Thnx

It depends on the State. Some require titles some don't. call a local dealer in your State and see if it's required. If they do requires the bike to be titled, make sure to ask which State Office handles it. That why you know who to call for the seller to get a duplicate so he can sign it over to you.

I know Texas does.

I know in Wisconsin, all you need is the DNR registration card for boats, quads, even snowmobiles, but as stated before it does vary state to state. It should of had a certificate of origin when purchased new, contact your DNR, since they are the ones that generally govern offroad vehicles.
