If it has a 6V option, make sure it is set to 12V. Try leaving it connected to the battery, unplug from wall for about 30 seconds and plug it back in.

If non of the above work check the instructions on the charger. some are able to determine if there is a shorted cell, that flashing may indicate that the battery is bad. or it just may indicate that it is charging and it's normal to flash that way

Have a Problem?

Troubleshooting First Steps, An amazing number of problems are cured with just these two items.

Improving Search.

To find threads where ALL the words, instead of ANY of the words "650H1, Carb, Jetting, Needle Jet, Snorkel" were found...Open up a search window in www.google.com In the find box type without the quotes "650H1 Carb Jetting Needle Jet Snorkel site:Arcticchat.com" & Press return. i just seen that it had FLOAT MODE and i found that online it said this...

automatically changes from full-charge to float-mode monitoring to prevent overcharging

i think that might just be it.

If it is in float mode that means your battery is charged!

This could be a bad battery (check with a volt meter), a bad connection, or a bad solenoid.

I know on my Battery tender you have to hook the tender up to the battery first and then add power to the tender or it will flash.
