I have a 07 400 manual and I have had no major issues with it..just normal wear and tear items like bushings and brake pads.
There just about bullet proof.

07s are/were fine. 08 models were the problematic year. The welds on the pin on the ring gear were very shoddy and weak.

I've got a 2007 auto and the only problem I've had with it is the front diff actuator. It just stopped working one day and I had to replace it ($400+). Otherwise it's a solid, reliable machine.
