Carb Leaking

I have a 2007 Arctic Cat 650H1, I was pulling the kids around the yard (slow like 5-10mph) I stopped and had a real strong gas smell, pulled the side panels off and the hose that comes off the bottom of the carb (must be like an overflow hose because it runs to nothing) was leaking gas. Uping the rpms seemed to stop the leak but as soon as it comes down to an idle it starts to leak again. Any ideas? Please and Thank You
I have always had a little gas smell and have had it to the shop a couple times for some minor stuff but they never have found anything.

first thing I would do is to make sure the drain screw is good and tight. If it is tight then I am thinking it could be a stuck float.

ATV: 2010 XTZ Prowler
My Prowler 650 did the exact same thing out in Utah. We just pinched the hose in half and zip tied it. Never had an issue again.

The screw was tight, the float was right, the overflow tube was solid, never could figure out why it started draining.

I would drop the carb and clean it. Could just be as simple as a small piece of crud getting lodged between the float needle and seat. That'll do it every time. So will a stuck float.
