Just got 2 old style spouts and the little yellow caps from blitz usa! Called them and told them i lost the ones of my 6.5 gallon water cans and needed a replacement. Sent them free of charge! Now i got 2 more real gas cans!

You have no Idea how much me and my buddy complain about the new style cans, we actually don't even carry them with us. I found some "decent" styled ones at a local Magic Mart... They fit great in my box and don't have to worry about the awful spout sticking up just waiting to be broken off.

Still not as good as the old ones....

Getting the old style gas cans is almost impossible! Just like the light bulb as we no it now! I am stocking up on light bulbs too!

Got a couple of plastic one that look like jerry can a while back at Checkers of all places. No goofy three hand spout. Sounds like many state have outlawed them. Wyoming is the place to be, they don't outlaw gas can spouts.

Those new "government" spouts suck! Its supposed to be safer but whenever I try to fill the machines up, gas splashes all the time. I still have an older 2.5 gallon can with the "good 'ol style" spout and I end up filling that can first, then use that to fill the machines.

Hate em myself. These things are supposed to prevent spillage and evaporation, but I can't find one that is spillproof. There's always a bit lost when you first start to pour, and I've had 2 of them fail. The first one, the spring and valve just plain fell apart, and dumped gas all over. The one I use now got hung up, and instead of filling the tank, just sprayed out to the sides. You can't trust them

You guys still can buy a 6.5 gallon can from blitz usa, which is labeled as a water jug but is the same as a gas can! And they are legal still! I am going to aubuchon hardware and pick up a blitz water can as we speak! 12.99$ for a 6.5 gallon with the "old style spout"
