Does it matter which way the winch pulls. Over the top or underneath.

My rocker switch has an "in" and "out" side. So on mine it does matter. But I do not know if it will pull harder in one dirrection or the other.

What I mean by which direction is over the top of the spool or pull underneath the spool.

the answer your looking for is under. So to pull in, you want the drum rotating top to bottom or forward.
