I was at WalMart early this morning picking up stuff for the wife. Saw dirt wheels' cover and said it had another big bore shootout. They said that cat had the most flat front tires because of the weight, gas coming from the vent tube, got hung up the most on it's plastic skid plates, diff lock not working all the time(wonder if they tried adjusting it), and twitchy steering. I didn't read the whole article, just the summary, but are they still testing 700+ lb utility quads like 400lb sport quads? And the getting hung up on stuff that others were sliding off of goes directly against my personal observations. Seems like our Cats are always sliding over stuff everyone else gets stuck on. Finally, twitchy steering. Maybe I'm not as sensitive to the steering as others are, but I really don't notice much difference in the way our Cats steer and the Hondas and Kawi's and POO's I've ridden. And the final comment, no one would pick the AC as a work or play machine. bang your head Have any of these guys ever worked on a quad, ever in they're lives? I used my Cat to get my deer out of a steep creek bed, and up several steep, snow and ice covered hills with the buck on the back rack and the doe being pulled behind. :tongue_nana:
OK, I had to rant, I don't know why that irritates the stuffin' out of me the way it does, but I guess I'm just an angry, hateful communist after all. I'm feeling happy and sane again.
