AC was so nice to extend my warrenty for me an extra 24 months. Thats cool but what about my limp mode? The extended warranty is exactly like the factory one. Did anybody else get this or is it because I cried about limp mode?

I have a 2 year warranty too, but it was part of the original deal at time of purchase.

They have not offered me an additional 24 months, nor a fix for the limp mode.

I still have to make a trip to the dealer and bug him about the RF filter & exhaust screw kit, but the screws are of little importance to me because I created a heat sheild anyway.

If the the limp mode issue was fixed, I'd be happy, and an extra 24 months of warranty wouldn't matter so much. It would be nice, but probably not necessary unless they can't fix the limp mode. I shure hope that RF filter works when I get it.

I recieved the 18 month extended warrenty at purchase time. Combined with the origonal 6 month with a total of 24 months. So are you saying you got another 6 month on top of your 24 month?

Not sure how long my factory warranty is that I got with the quad when I got it. I got a letter in the mail monday from A/C. It said because I am such a valued customer arctic cat extended my warranty a extra 24 months at no cost to me. It said (dont have it in front of me) that the extended warranty mirrored the factory one and that it would expire sometime in 2006. That means that I had a 24 month original warranty from the dealer.

Bad day guys. I am wrong again. That means that I had a 6month factory warranty from the dealer not a 24 month one. 24 months is 2 years. This is 2004 not 2002. So this means my total warranty is 30 months from purchase. That would put me in 2006 sometime. I new if I used my brain I would get it right.....

O.k. I am reading this post, and I am confusing the hell out of myself so I will try again. I had a 6 month warranty from the dealer when I bought my quad. I got a letter in the mail from A/C on Monday stating because I am such a valued customer A/C extended my warranty an extra 24 months at no cost to me, to thank me for the purchase of the 650. It also said that the extended warranty mirrored the factory warranty in its coverage and all total warranties would expire in 2006. All that this means is they gave me a 24 month warranty for free. Do we all understand now??????? My head hurts! Sometimes I can be a real knucklehead!

LOL Dude
Are you sure you didn't get a 18 month extended warranty. Plus the 6 month factory warrenty. For a total of 24 months. I got the letter about a month ago. The coverage is through some place in Arazona or something like that. At least that's what I recieved. It's still funny as hell reading all your post. At least you have a sense of humor.
Bob Cheers!

OK, I read mine and they call it a 24 month extended warranty but if you read it close it will say 18 months added to the factory 6 month. They make it sound like they are adding 24 months to the factory 6 month. Not on mine. Only a 24 month total. 6 month factory + 18 month extended. It was part of the package deal when I bought mine. Plus the $69.00 winch. Did I explain that right. Or am I reading mine all wrong?
Now you have me confused LOL.

Bob

I think most manufacturers/dealers have a 6 months factory warrenty. That is all I had on my Honda and all that is on my Cat.
Like Bob said Cat had a sales promotion this spring, I belive it was called the "down and dirty sales" and it offered 3 options. 2 were different ways of finacing and the other was a 2 year extended warrenty and I think a winch for $70 or something like that. Anyways if you got the warrenty option Cat is just sending you a letter of verification, letting you know that you still have warrenty left. Or that is how I thik it works.
