Question F8 2007 Power Valve Cable Adjustment

Hi,

First post here, lots of good info.

I have a 2007 F8 Sno Pro and found broken spring in the power valve.
I have put new spring in but I think the power valve are not opening to thier maximum because I lost some top speed. How do I know if the cable are well adjusted or if the motor (the one who open the power valve) is at the right position or is making the valve fully open ?????

Thanks for your knowledge and your time

Got It

ENGINE MODEL CENTER ± 1 mm (0.039 in.)
600 cc 36.0 mm (1.417 in.)
800/1000 cc 35.0 mm (1.377 in.)

NOTE: If for any reason the pulley was removed
from the servo, make certain to align the space
between the two cables with the mark on the shaft
of the servo.

Thanks

Unhook the cables from the servo motor and make sure they are moving up and down freely, they should be adjusted to 35mm, the key is to have them the same length, the servo will rotate until one of the cables stop, if one is longer than the other it will not open fully, hope that helps!!

Thank you guys ,,,, I routed the cable in a more natural position and I gain a few MPH ... but not there yet MPH wise ....maybe the new spring will "break in" later plus I notice that there is a cable that is in poor shape .... quick question again regarding this ..... if the valves does not open, is it 100 % sure that I would get a code....

I purchased the new piston style power valves from supreem tool and am blown away with the performance gain and simplicity of them. they come pre calibrated and are easy to install and no more eror codes, cables, etc etc highly recomended!
