F6 problems

Having some problems with my 2009 F6

It does not want to run right If you throttle up it will bog, and the idle never wants to drop to a feasable level, always sits around 2300-2500 RPM or higher

I don't know where to look??

I had a cracked air silencer which I replaced, replaced a broken spring in the drive clutch, plugs are new, exhaust valves are mirror clean, new gas.... what next?

Thanks to all those who reply, your knowledge is invaluable to guys like me who is scratching his head wondering what to do

Thanks again
Darren

Sled: 2003 f7(mine) 2008 f6 (lady o mine)
ATV: 2- 2005 polaris 500 ho scramblers
have the same sled (currently down)
initially it went back to dealership with same issue
after 3rd visit they realized the main harness needed
to be replaced. seems the 05 models had harness issues and this one slipped through! maybe yours aswell?
hope this helps.

Did you confirm the throttle cable is fully seated in the throttle block? If yes, next check the throttle body's are returning to closed position. Most common issue, could also be a vac leak, throttle body's sitting properly in the intake boots?

Yep I checked out the throttle cable pretty good after getting some tips from a mechanic(said the same thing you said zr!)

I have however taken the sled to the dealer, as I'd rather be riding on the weekend than fixing. Will let everyone know how it turns out

So after a week and a half a the dealer, I get my sled back. They tell me that there's nothing wrong with it, as it idles fine and had no problems when they rode it around. ????? So I pick it up and took it for a short ride. Ran fine, although I wondered if temperature had anything to do with it.( only -7C out) I figure okay let's go for a rip today, lot colder (-20C) and I didn't get 2 miles before it bogged a bit. I decided to just pin it and it was going, then.... shut right down dead. If I tried to start it, it would run for a sec at about 900RPM and quit. So back to the dealer, where they did not like me and the anger I was exuding. Let's see what happens now

Sled: 2009 Yamaha Nytro RTX
08-09 Mileage: 900
06-07 Mileage: 800
check oil lines and pump is operating correctly. These symptoms sound like my 07 when it seized @ 700 miles
