Ok guys,

Here is one of the Big Thunder shop sleds 05 Mach Z. We ran this thing yesterday on the dyno and these were the numbers we got. This will explain why these are hard to beat!

First dyno sheet is with Big Thunder trail port and pipe mod. This trail port and pipe mod works with no fuel mods at all so no boondocker is needed.

The second dyno sheet is with our kit on it and we are throwing a lot of juice at it, but this is the way this sled is run all the time and my 03 Firecat with the 1000 in it runs the same tune-up.....

I thought you guys might like to see these as no one realy tells you how much these sleds realy make. As a gauge a bone stock 05 Mach Z with the chip burnt out made 166hp on this dyno and thats about what they realy make. These are no BS numbers.....

I also need to add that these numbers were with pump gas (Prem) in the tank and Torco 110 in our little nitrous tank. This is a real trail sled...... Those that were at the Mach Z shootout can verify that. It was not trail ridden that day due to the fact Dale has a broken back but he was still there......

What Tod fails to mention is they also produce cat products and research as well. I think he is just trying to tell you why these machz's are so hard to take up top

Very impressive numbers, am real impressed they can handle the power, no matter what brand. Glad you posted them. I now know not to line up against one.

That's 90 hp from spray.

Any estimate on the amount of money for the engine mods and power adder ? Just wondering compared to a turbo RX-1 .

Numbers to respected without a doubt.

For comparison, The mach with trail port and pipe mod (no spray) is 180hp

My F1000 with trail port & single pipe is 210+hp

Now if i added a 90 hp shot of NOS???? Hmmmm........................

Hey Red700cat...
If you dont like the topic dont read it, I could care less and this is posted on dootalk but I thought you might find this interesting. We do Arctic Cat as well as Skidoo so I could do without your negativity.

I posted this as information for you all to see what the big Doo can produce. Can the new F1000 hit these marks, we dont know yet as we have not ventured into the new engine only nitrous kits and bolt on performance parts. I can say I have a 03 Firecat with a 1000 in it that can make similar power but its a big bore with twin pipes..... That makes this Mach Z look even more impressive.
...

RiverRat,
I know you bleed D&D so I wont even get in a discussion with you over that but if you ran your sled on the dyno we just used it would not make 210hp and you still are not comparing apples due to the fact this Mach Z still has the stock pipe and muffler on it with a simple mod that didnt even require welding. Also consider the ports were not altered enough to require extra fuel from a boondocker or increased fuel psi.

I didnt post this to start a pissing match......

Big F'n deal you got a 1000 cc sled to make 180 hp.
A trail safe(.66 bsfc) single pipe, into the stock muffler, F8 will make 175 hp on a super-flow dyno.
Thats .22 hp per cc, vs .18 for the doo.

Well i guess I wasted my time showing you all this info.

A 175hp F8 will most likley come home on the tow rope. We all know how reliable those kits have been....

Later....

.66 BSFC ride it all winter, change the plugs before next season repeat.
If you came to brag you better bring a lot better numbers than 180, any F1000 out there can do better than that with $200 worth of Y pipe and breather, 20 min install time.
