ATV: dvx400
well i did another manual compression test and found it had only 30 psi. looked up the spec. spec. is 147psi of crompression. i just got done taring my down to the pistion. nothing looked to out of wack. removed the piston from the rod and took a better look at it. found that the secondary compression ring is stuck to the poistion. it would not spring back out. looks like thats a start to my problem. need to wait till pay day and put a new set of rings and rehone the jug.
will let you know when it starts.

thanks again for all the help.

well it sounded like how mine was...and the low compression gave it away! but no...it had to be a carb issue haha. If you have it tore apart....with all the trouble to hone the jugs and such...for under $400 you can get the cylinder works BBK. i think someone bought one from ebay or something for around that price. comes with everything you need.

Alot of people do because the obviously work, but i would never trust a resleeve, your asking for problems, you should just get a new full bbk with all your gakets, rings, piston head, cylinder and everything. just my opinion
