DVX 400 Oil Change Help....

OK so I'm new to this DVX400 and I don't have a owners manual for help......
I want to change the oil and cannot find where I fill the oil up.......plus I cannot get my seat off.
I have drained the oil and cannot find the fill cap........Plus, what is the oil tank in the front of the machine.......

Any idea how to get the seat off?????

I told you I'm new to this and I realize these are probably stupid questions but I really need help.....lol

Their should be a lever on the back left hand side of the ATV to release the seat.

The oil tank in the front is exactly that, an oil tank. On the DVX the engine oil doesn't all sit in the crankcase, so you will have to drain the oil tank as well too. You also fill up the oil into the oil tank. When removing the oil filter be sure not to lose the little o-ring that goes behind the filter.

So the dipstick down low on the front is just for checking the oil level?????..........I don't fill there????..........

You fill the oil where the dipstick is in the oil tank. You dont put any oil into the motor itself.

Works best to have a funnel with a hose attached to it for filling up the oil tank. Its a pretty tight spot for a bottle of oil.
