It's a Lombardini diesel. Are they a subsidiary of Kohler? If you don't want to go back to the dealer then find a diesel mechanic who works on commercial equipment. Any diesel guy should be able to tune your mechanical diesel to run right.


Look up posts by member Whitbread. He has some tips on the diesel to get more power. If you don't want to tackle it, then share it with your new mechanic.

I just saw this post. If you haven't sorted this out, read Whitbread's post, go to page 15 and he has instructions how to advance the timing and turn up the fuel. Looks pretty simple, once you dig into it. I read his whole epic post last night. Don't know if he ever got a kit out for a turbo, but that sounds like the ultimate power option.

Something definitely isn't right. Yes it's going to be slower overall with the tracks, but it shouldn't rev slower. That's definitely something not done right in the tune up. I'm outside of Gaylord MI, if you can get the machine here I'd be more than happy to sort it out for you! My email is whitbreadperformance@gamail.com, I don't get on here a ton these days.

There is a Canadian guy on youtube (V10PDTDI) that is running tracks on his Diesel, he has a turbo conversion. Looks like he's zipping around pretty easily in the video.
