1977 Jag 7000 Liquid 144" x 2"

I had/have a build thread going on Vintage Sleds but I haven't been getting a great deal of feedback on 700EFI mods or other mountain mods. Please guys give me tips and tricks to keep this thing awesome.

Okay the project; I traded a case of beer for a 1977 Jag with the stock track but a wedged tunnel and 340 fan from an 85 Enticer. Great sled, tons of fun but it just wasn't getting around in the mountains with that track. I traded another case of beer for a 136 x 1" track and skid from a Polaris trail. This was awesome. In an attempt to ditch weight and keep it nibble I went to two wheels on the rear. It got around decent enough. I have a picture of it stuck to show what it was playing in.

This year I wanted to go even further. My plans started as building a set of custom pipes for the 340 to get some more power from it. Then I was offered "The Purple Pig" a mach z chassis with a 144 x 2" track and an 81 Polaris TXL 340 motor. The motor would put out almost double the power, so I started moving the drivers and going down to a 7T so I could fit the track. I decided to make a complete custom tunnel for the longer track rather than add another extension. With the length being added it was going to look pretty scabby no matter what the way the tunnel was wedged.

I also ported the track. I know this is controversial. I did it to help the track flex around the small 7T drivers.

Then the bump in the plan. I was given a 92 Wildcat MC 700EFI because it wouldn't run right. Turns out it had inductive plugs in it.

I an running the coolers from the Mach Z chassis inside the tunnel.

The 700 is now mounted in the chassis, I still have to rotated the chaincase backwards to get the proper centre to centres on the clutches.

I traded the old cat skid (136) for an 07 Rev 144 skid. Fits great.

Now I have to make a set of custom pipes to fit inside this beast. Before I make some with different characteristics is there any way to tune the old EFI systems? It seems like the programming is all stored on the EEPROM chip but I can't find anyway to access the fuel tables.

Fuel Pressure Regulator, seemed to help
Greg From Jaws built me a set of 700 Twins that I fit in a 97 ZR440 Chassis it was tight.
Maybe your best bet is to get a set of Carbs for ZR 700 or a Carb Wild Cat should be a set of 38 or 40mm much easier to tune

Sled: (2) 1998 ext el tigre's, 1998 zr 500
i have a set of mikuni vm38's from a 98 zr500 that may work im willing to let go....not sure if they would work or not. i was going to use them on my ext el tigre but im going another route
