2016 Bearcat 2000 XT

Just picked my sled up today. Steering seems very easy while on garage floor and noticed front springs are adjusted pretty loose. I have 1/8" of thread showing under the spring adjusting collar. Where should that be as a starting point for good steering. I'm going to try original carbides and possibly update to duals at a later date. Want to ride it first.

Tough category with so few of us utility guys. I guess I'll wait till the snow comes to test it out.

I have the basic 570 too but 2015's and newer came with adjustable front shocks. I have read the ride is great and keeps you warm on the cold days as the XT's offer great protection.

I've started an online petition to have the government move it all to you.
Looks like I have some support

I have the 3000 version of the Bearcat and I noticed the front shocks being adjusted very soft from factory.
But then on my first ride, I was surprised how well it soaked up bumps and remained stable, so I wont touch them until I get to ride some more.

As far as carbides, mine came with duals, and I wish it didnt. It makes going up ramps, low snow riding and getting in the garage much harder.
I am debating grinding part of the edge or ordering simple runners for it.

And here's me debating whether I will prefer dual runners as I have them on my T660 Turbo Touring and Sabercat. I'll wait till I try it out on some groomed trails and snow covered lakes. I still like the skis that come on the 3000 and 7000's.

The 2 sleds are on different chassis.
The procross might not need aggressive carbides. Weight distribution and front shocks geometry will affect the amount of grip needed.

Mine is definitely over carbided!!!
