Wow that's very cool and doesn't even look like a bearcat anymore.

It's a cool build up. Just needs a solid mount for carrying a chainsaw

More oil...

The first service was 670 km. Now the instrument cluster 2200 km. I had to increase the 0.5L oil when the oil level had dropped below the permitted character.
None other problems.
Sledge is great! I enjoyed the driving.

Start...

I have noticed a worrying new aspect bearcat.
For cold starts the instance is the problem?
Starter is not gonna be able to initially rotate a cold engine. I took the battery out of it and I downloaded it, and did not affect in any way.
Starting a warm engine does not feel any discomfort.
I heard from a mechanic that the starter motor is probably to fail?

How cold are we talking?

-20 degrees or -30 degrees Celsius?

Do these machines come with a block heater?

...

The temperature need not be as -1c, as long as the engine is cold.
Launching the cold has changed from what it was as new.
I am afraid that the starter-motor breaks down soon ... :-(
2450 km.

Test battery voltage first thing in the morning and also what the voltage drops to when starter is turning motor over for 10 seconds. Leave kill switch off. Sleds have battery drain from clock and it may not be recovering. Cheap test before you change starter.

Check the starter for loose bolts. The Phazer was notorious for this. The casing would rotate and the starter would get weak.
It was a easy fix, but it could leave you stranded.

Picked up a 16 bearcat 3000 lt last Friday, have 150 miles on it now and must say it's a great machine. Trail riding is smooth even 2 up with g.f, also do alot of fishing. it hauls our gear in otter sleigh, both of us and our rotti on the rear cargo rack (when she tired out lol) with no issues. If it had a bit more top end speed it would be a perfect sled for us. That new norseman 6000 looks like the it will be a good fit.
