Review Mud gears Tires
Hello,
Here is my review on the Mud gears tires , I will do a follow up after I have been out in the field . my choice in tires was I wanted a good overall tire as I hunt in river bottoms and wood lots . I was looking for a tire that had both a good tread pattern with a good price I think these tires will fit my needs well .
The tires was mounted on a Arctic Cat 04 650 V2 with stock rims .
I purchased the tires on line from Nebraskatire which offered free UPS shipping and being in northern Missouri I received them in 2 days .

price was $293.00 delivered
I will list the weight of the stock tires as well as the Mudgears before and after being mounted .
Stock tires #
Front weight 29lbs.
Rear weight 38 lbs.
Mudgear Tires
Front
27X10X12
weight 32 lbs.
Mudgear Tires
Rear
27X12X12
weight 34 lbs.
Mudgear tires mounted on stock rims
Front
27X12X12
weight 41 lbs.
Rear
27X12X12
weight 45 lbs .
the weight was done using a Hansen 100 lb. Scale
the tires are true to height both front and rear tires measured 27 inches tall
on the width of both sets of tires they measure ½ inch short .
both sets front and rear has the same air pressure 7 lbs. As listed on the side of the tire
the front tires measured out as
9 ½ inches wide and the rears measured at 11 ½ inches wide
on the lugs of the tires
both 27X10X12 and 27X12X12 measured out at 1 ¼ inches .
on the rubber compound they seem to me to be a medium , not soft or very hard
Riding around in the yard the steering was good, felt almost like stock tires at slow speeds you can feel the lugs, when you speed up it smoothes out very well.
I will post back with a follow up after put some more time on them, right now the Boss has some Honey dos that I have to address before I can go out on the Cat.
So far for what I have seen of the tires I aim satisfied with my purchase
Here is a link where you can see the tires before I mounted them and after
