Just make sure you clean your power valves once a season. Or depending on how many miles you put on. I personally like to run Formula 50 but it does leave a residue that I'm not fond of. The best oil I've found is actually Merc outboard 2-stroke oil. It's amazing to see the insides of a motor that runs a great quality oil versus what some of the OEM's want you to run(BRP Full-Syn I'm looking at you)
X2 on what GregB said. Basic NGK are good enough. Normal Prestone for coolant. Not sure of your plugs, but my old sled calls for BR9ES and I run BR9EYA's instead.
I should have known better. I had Snopro's from this era. Shoulda known the consumer didn't have APV's since the 98-99 Snopro's had such a hard time with them. Lol
I was thinking about doing an ultra q silencer for the extra hp, and weight reduction, plus they soind pretty good. Any reason why i shouldn't? Any better cans?
might not be legal to run on some trail systems
and I doubt they make much HP, more in sounds than HP
as for iridium spark plugs, I say there is nothing wrong with them minus the price tag,. but again I doubt you will see or feel any difference
I run them in many of my toys, and no side effects, but admit no noticeable gains, starts/ idles runs, the same as they did on basic NGK's IMO
there could be SMALL gains, but nothing you will really notice!
but there cheap enough for me to use when time comes to replace plugs, have a few in some thing a LoT of yrs too
so again nothing wrong minus the added costs,
