My '99 Pantera 580 efi is idling erratically and low (~500 rpm once warm). NOTE: I recently replaced previously cracked/leaking throttle body boots which resulted in low idle speed
What is the correct procedure for readjusting idle speed and must the TPS and oil pump be re-syncronized once that is done? (I have service manual specs on TPS resistance but find nothing on just how to set idle speed.) Am I correct in assuming that there are idle adjusting screws on the throttle body that are inaccessible unless throttle body is removed?
Any other advice on possible causes for low idle speed or related things to check out?
