Hello all. Does anyone have the part numbers for the qs3 kashima coated, front and rear track shocks that come on the RS edition? Also, will they retrofit to a 2012 - 2016 skid? I heard there may possibly be a change to the length of the front arm on 2017 suspensions. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Mike
The kashima coated qs3 shocks on the 2017 rr and rs, are the only qs3 shocks that I am aware of that may potentially fit a 2012 - 2016 skid.
The only other qs3 option I've seen is the non-kashima shock that comes on the ltd's and el tigres. That is the rear shock only. The front track shock on these models is not adjustable.
I don't really care about the coating, but I think it may be the only way to get front and rear qs3 track shocks as of now.
call carver performance and get the real fox ones from him. He also sends them out with better calibrations in them. The cat speced ones are not as good as true fox made ones.
I sent my rears in to Carver for a revalve,He said don't bother swapping the ACT center shock for a Fox,he revalved my ACT and rear Qs3. All new piston and valving in the ACT,new valving in the Qs3.
