ArcticChat.com was started in October 2003 by Marc Pukos of Churchville, New York. As a true Arctic Cat fanatic and lifelong Arctic Cat sled rider, Marc combined love of snowmobiling and his interest in the internet to establish one of the most reputable and friendly snowmobile sites on the web. He created ArcticChat.com with hopes of creating an "on-line version of CatsPride®" and a site that would have a “club type feel.” Not only that, but he wanted a centralized place where Cat riders could share information without the all-too-common bashing. Marc then improved the site by adding sections for Cat ATV riders. He quickly discovered ATV owners are as passionate about their Cats as sled owners. As the word spread and the online relationships increased, the site just took off and as they say, the rest is history.

In April 2005 ArcticChat.com entered its second generation of ownership. Dan Dumont of Yarmouth Port, MA took over the ownership and administration of the site. Dan had one simple goal in mind. Continue the success of ArcticChat.com and to remain an ALL Arctic Cat based information site. Dan takes great pride in what he does for the site, as well as for the sport of snowmobiling. He will continue to channel his creative and talented thinking to help keep ArcticChat.com amongst the top snowmobile sites on the web.

The site is filled with many ways for visitors to get their Arctic Cat fix. The interactive forums section of the site will help the beginner tuner, as well as some of the most educated gearheads improve their machine. The friendly and responsive members are willing to help by offering advice, recommendations, and even help build relationships with fellow Arctic Cat fans in and around your area.

Other useful resources to the site include an online video and photo gallery where you can upload or download videos and pictures. There is also a live chat area for you to satisfy your late night cravings for Cat talk. A tech section where you can find some helpful how-to’s including detailed instructions and photos. ArcticChat.com also features a news and events feature where you can keep up to date on all the latest website and Arctic Cat happenings. Finally, other tools include a live Arctic Cat stock quote, and even a customizable weather section for members to use.
